Buying a painting
When you have decided to buy a painting the procedure is as follows:
- You click on
"Buy" next to the painting you would like to buy, this generates an
email, which you then send off to: paintings@scarves.dk
- We agree on the
shipping method and charges
- You pay the total
amount (price of painting plus shipping) by one of the following ways:
- Credit Card:
You will receive an email with a link to a page from where you can make
a secure payment. We accept most major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa,
American Express and Discovery), and there is no extra charge for using
credit cards. To make the payment process secure we use PayPal (see PayPal.com for more details)
- Cheque: you
send us a cheque in the mail (address will be emailed to you and can
also be found here)
- Cash: you pay
us cash when we deliver it (if that is the shipping option you have
chosen)
- The painting is
shipped to you
Return policy
We will gladly accept the painting(s)
back for a full refund, provided that you contact us
within 14 (fourteen) days and the paintings are in the same condition
as when you received them. Make sure you contact us before you return the goods at: returns@scarves.dk or phone: +45
4675 1449.
Renting a painting
We know it can be very hard to imagine
whether a painting fits in your environment - will it match your
colours?
will it seem too big? etc, that's why we rent out our paintings as
well.
It works like this:
- You tell us that
you would like to rent the
painting, by clicking on "Rent" next to the painting
- We agree on the
shipping method and charges
- You can pay the deposit (50% of the price of the
painting) plus shipping in one of the following ways:
- Credit Card:
You will
receive an email with a link to a page from where you can make a secure
payment. We accept most major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American
Express and Discovery), and there is no extra charge for using credit
cards. To make the payment process secure we use PayPal (see PayPal.com for more details)
- Cheque: you
send us a cheque in the mail (address will be emailed to you and can

- Cash: you pay

chosen)
- The painting will
be delivered to you
- You make your
mind up and then one of two things
can happen:
- you don't like
it, in which case you ship it back to us,
and we will return your deposit (less the rental fee), or
- you like it,
in which case you let us know and we will invoice you the remaining 50%
(you pay no rent).
We assume, of course,
that - in case you decide not to buy - the
painting is returned in the same condition as when you received it, if
not, we'll need to charge you a repair fee. It is also a good idea to
make sure that the painting is insured while it is in your care, since
we will have to charge you the full price if it is stolen.
When the total rent amounts to the price of the painting, the painting
is of course yours.
